Sema LA! Campaign came about after the many sittings with teen mums,who brought forward claims of being raped or forced sexual activity without their consent,Others sadly talked of being drugged,taken out for dates before such malicious acts,and many other instances that showed they were not for the act. Hence the campaign caters for life skills where they are taught to respect their own bodies,be firm when they say NO,defense skills incase of attacks and rape situations.In the same trainings they are taught upright decision making in life,importance of education,use of talent for sustainable life style and referred to business thinking as an alternative of livelihood.The trainings are meant to bring out their full potential in life,be more cautious in life and make worthy decisions for future.
